One of a Kind! How to place self-adhering Sparkles!

See? I really am creating now! My BFF, Brenda, and I have spent the last hour on the phone & browsing the new catalog online together. It reminded me to post this card I made when she said she liked this stamp set, so here it is!!! Brenda, just for you, my dear cause 'there's no one like you'!Recipe: I random stamped an image on the colonial white CS & then sponged the edges of the card with the same garden green ink. To make the flower 2-toned, I started by inking the flower in creme brulee and then sponging garden green around the edges. Then I stamped on colonial white textured cardstock, cut it out, & added the sparkles (love those things!).

Sparkle TIP: The easiest way to place sparkles are to leave them on the carrier sheet. Place the carrier sheet right up to where you want to place the sparkle and then with your forefinger on top of the sparkle, slide it off the sheet into it's place on your project! It's much easier than trying to pick it off the carrier sheet... especially for those bitty ones.

  1. Very pretty card. The Bitty Sparkles really add a nice finishing touch to that flower.
